One Last Christmas Card

Last year, I saw a lot of cards using Lawn Fawn's Cozy Christmas stamps and saw one using this plaid paper and knew that I would have to make one for my mom, she loves plaid.  I made the wreath using lots of punched pine (McGill punch).  I LOVE this stamp set, it's too cute.

This one is exactly the same except for instead of lights I put 2 stockings.

Hope you all had an amazing holiday and wish you all the best in 2012.

2 Winter Bunny Cards

I have 2 cards for you today, both using Lawn Fawn's Winter Bunny.  Love that bunny!  For this first one, I had made a tag (using PTI dies and gingham stamp) and decided I liked it so much that I would use it on a card.  I also like the pompom ribbon I added to the bottom of the tag, just adds to the cuteness (that's a word, right?).  The red pp is Martha Stewart and I used some My Mind's Eye twine.

For this next card, I kept it simple.  I used Hero Arts's Magical background stamp using Colorbox's Frost White (which is awesome) on kraft paper.  I coloured my bunny using copics.  I added a Lawn Fawn sentiment and some Stickles.  Done!

Hope you liked my cards today and would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Penguin Christmas cards

I LOVE this Jillibean Christmas Eve Chowder.  I bought the 6x6 pack and lots of the 12x12 sheets, I just can't get enough of it.  Just look at those cute penguins!

I used Hero Arts's Magical background stamp on kraft paper for the background and just cut out the penguins and trees from the pp.  The sentiment is from the same collection.  Super easy and cute.

Here I used pp for the background and again just used Jillibean paper for the rest.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Thanks for looking!

More Snowmen cards

I love that I finally got some Lawn Fawn stamps last month.  They are hard to find here (ok impossible),  so I ordered them online.  I have a lot of snowman stamps (because I love them) but I have to say that these LF ones might be my favourite.

For the first card, I used a Hero Arts background stamp and the gingham paper was made using PTI's Gingham stamp.

For this last one, I used some Martha Stewart pattern paper and the same Cheery Lynn light die that I used last week.

I hope you are all having fun getting ready for Christmas, I know I am.
Have a good one!

Tags and an ornament

Here are some of the many tags I've made recently.  Everything used is from PTI. I love the In The Meadow stamps and dies, so cute!  I made the gingham paper using PTI's gingham background set.

For the ornament, I used Lawn Fawn's Winter Bunny.  I had seen a similar ornament last year on the LF blog and knew that I would have to make one too.  Too cute!  I cut a piece of acetate to fit the inside of the ornament (I used a plastic ornament to make it kid-friendly), then stamped some white snowflakes (which you can't see very well in the picture) and adhered the snow and bunny, rolled the whole thing up and put it in the ornament.  I added some glitter which makes it sort of like a snow globe when you shake it.
Here's another picture, which isn't any better than the first, but it might give you a better idea of what it looks like.
Have a great week everyone!

Snowman card and ornaments

I'm loving this PTI snowman die.  I've been using it a lot this week.  Here, I made a card using glitter paper.  When you stamp on glitter paper, you can't see the ink very well so I added some Enamel Accents (by Rangers) for the eyes and mouth and cut out a felt nose.  The Christmas Light Swag die is by Cherry Lynn Designs and I used glitter paper again (I love glitter paper!).

Next, I made these ornaments for my kids.  I die cut the snowmen out of felt and stitched the face and some buttons.  These were a little time consuming but I liked the way they turned out and hopefully we will keep them and put them in the tree every year.

Off to make more Christmas cards!  I LOVE making Christmas cards and should really start making them in June to make all the ones I have in my head.  I never seem to learn that lesson, oh well, maybe next year.

Have a great day!

Clear Winter Wishes Card

Hello everyone!  Here's another Christmas card.

So this one was hard to photograph.  The white paper is glittered paper, the tree has some bling and the background stamp is stamped with metallic Staz On, so needless to say - very hard to photograph.  The sentiment stamp and dies are PTI and the background stamp is Hero Arts.

Have a great weekend everyone!
