4th Birthday Party!

For my son's 4th Birthday party, we decided to invite Spiderman. He is so excited to have his hero come, he can hardly wait! I hadn't planned on making the invitations, until I saw my HA large web stamp and then couldn't resist. They were easy to make, just some white embossing, a picture of my son at Halloween and I used my Cricut to cut the 4. I like the way they turned out and more importantly so does my son.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Publication!!!!

Here it is! My first published card!

I was SO excited in Sept. to find out that Paper Crafts had chosen my card for publication. The wait to see it in print, however, was painful. On Tuesday, the wait was over and I was over the moon. It's one of my favourite cards I've ever made (I love clear cards). I used stamps from my 2 favourite companies: Hero Arts and PTI. To find out more, check out the new issue of Paper Crafts.

Have a great weekend!

Valentine's day cards

This is the card I made for my husband.

I stamped the background with cling dots in white frost but couldn't see it very well, so I added a bit of glitter to some of them. I love the K&Company heart sticker and of course more doilies. (I'm pretty sure I'm done with doilies for a while).

Up next is the cute album card I made for my daughter. I love how it turned out and she absolutely loved it too. Inside are love notes and pictures of her and I.

All done with pink and doilies for a while.
Have a great day!

Love Bug

Yes, more valentine cards and more doilies! Ever since my daughter was born I've called her Love Bug, so when I saw this cuttlebug embossing folder I knew I had to buy it.

Here is another card I made with that folder. I will be putting this one in her lunch bag on Monday. She loves when I put cards in her lunch bag. She keeps them forever! It's pretty cute.

Friday tomorrow! Yay!

Valentines and Doilies

Hello!

As promised another valentine with a doily (they go so well together, don't you think?). I used Crafts Too's heart embossing folder with some Coordination paper. I used the reverse of the same paper for the scallop circle. I clear embossed a diamond pattern (PTI, Argyle) at the top of the card to add interest. The valentine stamp in CTMH. I LOVE the 3D hearts I used on this card! (I got those at Michael's). You might be seeing more of those this week;)

Reminder to self: Send Valentine cards tomorrow or they won't get there on time. Anybody else like that? So busy making them, you forget to send them. Ha! That's so me.

Thank you so much to those of you who left sweet comments and became followers on my first post, it means the world to me. THANKS!!!

See you later this week, hope you're having a good one!

Welcome!

Welcome to my first post! I've been wanting to do this for a while now and I have finally found some time and some courage to do so. I am so excited! Although I am new to the blog world, I've been "stalking" you all for years now. I love all the inspiration I find online and hope to inspire others in their card making. I've been stamping for 14 years now and I also do a bit of scrapbooking but card making is my true passion. Welcome and I hope you enjoy my blog.

For this first post I've made a welcome card for whoever might be out there visiting.
